Hi, Susan,
The books arrived yesterday – two go to my sisters, one stays with me. I have spent the morning crying – it is such a beautiful treasure you have created.
The Bosque is a special place for our family – it was a favorite of our parents who would make the drive from Albuquerque to find peace with the birds. And my sisters and I try to visit each fall, around the time of their anniversary in October, to honor them and to find our own peace and re-connection in that magical place. Your book brings it all home,
Thank you, thank you for sharing your art.
Susan,
Your book is absolutely exquisitely breathtaking. Scrolling through it is an experience of remembering Being held in the sacred beauty of the Bosque when the cranes are here. I have always felt that comfort in peace would be found in the natural world. And you have taken pictures of it!
Again, my gratitude that you were kind enough to deliver the books this afternoon. I can’t wait for my sons to put it on their coffee table.
Have a very happy solstice, and holiday.
Always, Ed
